In order to activate the Purpose "Change Work, Advance Society, Connect to Tomorrow," we helped Panasonic Connect create an internal discussion program "Gemba Roundtable." It enables diverse employees to directly debate the future of work with leadership.
As a company prioritizing people on the frontlines, Panasonic Connect aimed to design an activation program that employees can participate in and create future actions through.
A discussion program which enables employees and leadership to discuss the future of work
The program starts with forecasting future workplace trends based on population estimates and internal employee data. With the theme of "Diverse Families," many perspectives were provided and were passed on to human resources planning meetings.
In order to keep the program going and prevent it from becoming a one-time event, who to involve and how to operate as one team were crucial - including participants, external experts, and project teams from multiple departments.
The workshop process evolved into a toolkit that other corporations can utilize. The toolkit includes slides for the workshop and a facilitator guide. The design expresses the spreading effect of Gemba Roundtable with symbolic visuals so that each company can positively participate in this program.
